POINZIE'S DIY AUDIO PAGES

My name is Eric Kingsbury.   If you came here from one of the DIY audio BBS's, I'm Poindexter.   It's a construction jobsite nick, and where it came from, it's not exactly a compliment; so I don't hesitate to use it around here.
I've been making high performance audio gear (as high as I can, anyway) since about 1970.   The bar was a lot lower then, it being Pioneer receivers and AR-3's; but there wasn't any Bottlehead List or Joelist, either, so the bar was about as hard to reach.   Things just tend to work out, I guess.   This site is a survey of the gear I've built, and am planning to build; and I hope to make it into a vehicle for an exchange of projects and ideas from people like Epstein, Fitzgerald, Marcy, and the rest of you very interesting folks.   Welcome, and thank you all; Joe Roberts, Ed Dell, and Dan and Brad from Valve, who disseminated the information that got many of us off our okoles and on the cam; Joppa and Camille and LaFevre and the old time guys who provide the rarified technical knowledge; and also the unnamed Russian who made the image of the amp; which I got from brother Aren van Waarde's page.

        Enjoy,

        Poinz
